The Schedule of Events for the Columbus 151 Speedway Event is now available.
Jefferson Speedway’s Wisconsin State Championships will once again host the Big 8 Late Model Series on Friday and Saturday September 14 and 15. The local heroes will go head to head with the top weekly talent from across the region in the popular two day race format which is headlined by a 100 lap Championship Feature event Saturday night.

Big 8 Late Model Series officials released the entry form for their upcoming inaugural visit to the Milwaukee Mile on Tuesday June 12 for the Swiss Colony Howie Lettow Memorial presented by RaceTeamGear.com. The event will be run in conjunction with the ASA Midwest Tour and ASA Truck Tour, with many special guests including former Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet Champion Ross Kenseth.

Columbus, WI- After a successful 2011 debut, the BanditBlast will return to Columbus 151 Speedway on Memorial Day Monday, May 28 along with the Big 8 Late Model Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet. Heather Stark captured the inaugural checkered flag over John Beale.
The Entry Form for the BanditBlast is now available online at www.columbus151.com. The 40 lap Bandit feature will pay $250 to win with a 22 car starting field. Also joining in the Memorial Day fun will be the Wild and Crazy Back Ups.

Battling his rivals and the elements, "Driver X" Jon Reynolds Jr. started his season the right way Sunday at the Rockford Speedway. Reynolds collected his first Spring Classic trophy, winning the 108 lap feature by half a track over his nearest competition after starting ninth in the season opening event for the Big 8 Late Model Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet.

Steve Strasburg of Race Car Help has given his support to the Big 8 Late Model Series by awarding $50 RCH Certificates to each winner of the newly named Race Car Help Qualifying Heats in Big 8 Series competition during the 2012 season. The RCH Qualifying Heats consist of the 15th fastest car back and help set the feature field at each event.
Loves Park, IL- The 2012 race season officially gets underway at Rockford Speedway this Sunday afternoon April 15 at Rockford Speedway. The Big 8 Late Model Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet, Mid-American Stock Car Series and new to the mix, the Illinois Vintage Racing Series will all begin their seasons during the 35th annual Spring Classic presented by Yellowbook.
